Daniel Arsham’s oeuvre is defined by the use the contemporary icons of the late 20th century or millennial era, when technological obsolescence unprecedentedly accelerated along with the digital dematerialization of our world. This work, like most of the object that he turns into stone refer, or in this case resin, subverts the icon of the digital camera and turns its lens backwards on the viewer. Asking of them to question what it is they would choose to capture in the reflection of our age.
