A stunning combination of blue, red, and pastel pink paint, highlighted with touches of green, forms the vibrant artwork known as Keukenhof. This print, inspired by Holland's famous tulip garden, depicts a dense array of flowers that almost obscures the ground beneath.

Keukenhof is the final piece in Damien Hirst's Veils series, published in 2020, and depicts details from his series of ‘Veil Paintings’ from 2017. The artwork combines the vibrant colours reminiscent of Pierre Bonnard with a technique reminiscent of Pointillism, creating a captivating and immersive effect. The daubs of brightly coloured brushstrokes convey a sense of dynamism and movement, while the complex and abstract design invites viewers to pause and reflect on their emotional response to the artwork. The present artwork expands upon Hirst’s conception of the series; another layer, akin to a veil, between the viewer and the world within the artwork’s composition.
