Tracey Emin's nude sketches are intimate visual diaries that capture raw emotional states through quick, urgent linework. Her monoprints and drawings, expressed by thin, smudgy lines and expressionistic style, convey profound vulnerability and bodily fragility. The titles of her works, often accompanied by deliberately misspelt text within the pieces, function as emotional timestamps, revealing her unfiltered stream of consciousness. Her nude drawings connect deeply to her broader artistic themes of love, loss, and isolation. Set in intimate interior spaces, they echo the confessional nature of her seminal installation "My Bed." Her artistic approach draws inspiration from Egon Schiele and Expressionism, while her preference for bedroom settings recalls Van Gogh's work.
